At Mindsailing, our work is driven as much by genuine curiosity as it is by business objectives. That’s why we strive to ensure our blog covers a wide swath of topics, from internal philanthropy efforts to digital best practices and industry-wide communication trends. As 2019 draws to a close, we wanted to reflect on the content and ideas that interested our followers the most this year.

1. Stepping into Adaptive Design – 5.17.19

Long gone are the days of one-size-fits-all. Consumers now expect companies to tailor products and services to individual needs. We explored how organizations can take this shift in expectation to innovate and make a positive impact on customers’ lives while providing intrinsic value with human-centered, or adaptive, design.

2. Give to the Max Day 2019 – 11.14.19

In honor of Give to the Max Day in November, the Mindsailing team spent a morning volunteering at a local community center that helps create better lives for those who struggle with social issues like food security, income disparity and a lack of stable housing. Inspired by our experience, we highlighted more organizations doing good work in our practice areas of agriculture, healthcare and more.

3. MN Search Summit – 6.28.19

In June, the Mindsailing team attended the 2019 MN Search Summit. In a series of industry-leading panels, we absorbed the latest digital strategies for paid media, online PR and more. Afterward, we were inspired to share our five key takeaways to sharpen social media strategy.

4. Mindsailing Fall Agribusiness Tour – 10.18.19

Responsible agriculture practices are a key piece to creating a more sustainable future — regardless of the scale of business. To learn more about industry change makers in our area, Mindsailing ventured out for National Farmers’ Day, visiting agricultural entrepreneurs across west-central Minnesota in industries from whiskey to wool to fine cheese. Through limiting waste and conserving energy, these businesses demonstrated clear best practices while serving as responsible stewards of the planet.

5. Four Steps to a Successful B2B Website - 8.27.19

After taking home an award for the design of a national health care client’s B2B website, we wanted to share our four most important insights. Digital leaders can achieve success by first preparing for common design, planning and building challenges.
